August Update

Yet Another Overdue Update!

I actually meant to post an update last month after everything settled down, but instead I took a month to find a routine and get used to my new apartment. I even got into running! Ran a mile without stopping today for the first time in at least a decade.

Anyways, I’m fully settled into the new place, and the urge to get working on my project ideas has come back. I’ve been picking away at a spec sheet for a game project I want to start streaming work on. I’ve got quite a bit of small ideas to pick at and put conceptualize, and eventually make an MVP out of the game idea. For now though, it’s just going to be picking away at the tech required day by day!

I’ve also gotten very into sim racing, and I plan on doing some streams for that if the computer can handle it well enough (a test stream I tried a little while back struggled, but I think there’s some solutions to that). I’d like to eventually race in a league, but I’m not comfortable enough behind the wheel yet hah!

My writing hasn’t been going great still. I actually meant to knock out a second draft of a story this week, but ended up letting myself get distracted by working on the game spec sheets (gotta ride out that inspiration while you can). I’m starting to think that I’m just not that terribly interested in continuing that story right now, so I might shift gears and start writing for the game project instead. I do plan on staying on top of these journals though. Aiming to have one posted each month.
